Arielle completed her medical degree in Chicoutimi in 2015. She is currently enrolled as an Internal Medicine resident in Montreal. She travelled to Uganda in 2009 and joined The Mercy Project to stay involved with the community of Gulu. In Chicoutimi, Arielle completed one term as Campus Coordinator for IFMSA-Quebec and was able to contribute to global health projects geared to communities in the area.
Catherine Ferriter
As a US citizen, Casey moved to Montreal to study international relations through the Political Science department of Concordia University. She has several years past experience volunteering with a variety of nonprofit organizations in the US, Canada, and Uganda. In 2014 she traveled to Gulu, Uganda with CEED to volunteer at the St Jude Children’s Home, where she first became acquainted with The Mercy Project.
Anne-Sophie Grenier
Anne-Sophie holds a BA in Communications Studies with a Minor in Political Science from Concordia University and a Masters of International Arts Management from HEC Montreal. She travelled to Uganda with CEED Concordia in 2013 and 2016 where she was able to see first-hand the work that the Mercy Project does and the important role that St Jude’s Children’s Home plays. She is currently the Executive Director of Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre in Kingston, Ontario.
Daniel Lavigueur
Daniel has worked in the non-profit sector for more than a decade in both the environmental and international development sectors. He began his career northern Uganda as an intern for CEED Concordia and since then has worked with a number of amazing organizations at home and abroad holding various management and leadership positions. He currently works as the Global Operations Manager for the Canadian Association of Midwives and is a member of the Board of Directors for CEED Concordia.
Jamie Robinson
Jamie is from Brampton, Ontario and now resides in Montreal after completing her Major in History at Concordia University. She volunteered in Uganda in 2008 and served as CEED Concordia’s Executive Director for 3 years. Jamie has been involved in social justice and anti-poverty work in various capacities. Her interests include fractals, robots, oral history, reading, and social innovation.
