We are a volunteer-run charity that funds health and wellness initiatives for communities in Northern Uganda.
The Mercy Project provides financial support for two health projects in Northern Uganda at St. Jude Children’s Home and Sports Outreach Ministry Gulu. The Mercy Project is run by a team of volunteers and we make every attempt to keep administrative fees as low as possible. These fees are restricted to banking and transfer fees, as well as minimal promotional and office supplies. We make it a priority that your money goes to the areas where it is most needed: to the people in need and the programs supporting healthcare.
The Mercy Project currently accepts credit card donations (including Visa, MasterCard & Amex), Visa Debit & Interac Online donations, and PayPal donations through CanadaHelps. A CanadaHelps account is not needed in order to donate to our organization. Cheque donations, made payable to The Mercy Project, can also be sent by mail to: The Mercy Project, c/o Concordia Volunteer Abroad Program, H711-1455 de Maisonneuve West, Montreal, Quebec, H3G 1M8. If you wish to donate in-kind such as providing a venue, resources, gift certificates, or other materials, please contact us via our contact form.
